Random Set Skills Teams For RA
After enjoying PVP for the first time in the Costume Brawl I started thinking why not more “set” skill events? I will be honest the turn off for me in PVP is the mindset of Uberness. The thinking that your build/class sucks you are a noob. The BS you always see in the chat window when waiting around in towns or waiting for groups. The mindset of there is only one way to do things one team set professions and set skills. Where is the balance? Were the fun? If I want to be and Assassin or a Mesmer ETC... Why can’t I? My suggestion is to add a NPC at the RA Island that will be a sealed deck Random PVP match. Have three set skill combos for every class that is randomly selected as you enter a match. This way your team changes constantly and never is the same. A tournament system would be great. A reward system based on matches won would be great. Example 20 consecutive matches won a reward chest would spawn. Daily ratings / weekly / monthly could be shown at this NPC with numbers of matches won. Rage quitters or disconnects could be replaced by waiting players in queue There win counter would have to meet 20 before chest would spawn for them.

I think that they should leave RA alone and make this a seperate arena for set builds. Each profession should have a build that is set for them and they would not be able to change it, or each profession has multiple builds that are chosen randomly for each battle. Ie: Warriors would have 3 builds, 1 axe, 1 sword, 1 hammer. Then it would be more based on the skill of the player. NOTE: you still need to get lucky with good teammates.

RA can't be touched. It's where I go to find wonderfully noob builds.

Nice idea, but it kind of is base don luck, which skill bar your team has and enemy has.
that said being the randomness of RA is the same.
so i wouldn't mind, as long as it was a differant areana.
/go for it

Make sure that some of the bars are actually logical though...like, don't have an Assassin with 8 lead attacks or something...
